Saturday's day

I want to thank Our Military for their service to Our Country. I appreciate you protecting me and my children. It Don't Go Unnoticed. THANK YOU!!!

I talked to Stacy today. Michael is doing better. Not sleeping to good, which is wearing her out. I feel bad, wish I could help. I know how to help, I have had training. But the miles and states between us makes it impossible. I am still praying. Hope you all do as well. The Lord is awesome.
I have been busy all week. Working and being a single Mom sure can take up lots of time.
My two oldest sons are going to their cousins wedding. WOW I have known this boy since he was like 4 yrs old, maybe younger. It doesn't seem possible he is old enough to get married. He was in my wedding, many moons ago when I was 18. He is a cute one. Was way back then too. His wife is lucky. This boy sure values family. I am happy for them.
I am going out and watching the first game of the World Series with some lady friends. We are going to a local bar. We wont have to worry about men there. Whew. We want to watch the game. GO TIGERS!!!
Lil Dude is suppose to be with his Father tonight. I am already stressing over seeing him. Someday I will be ok with him being the father of my son. I am working on it. With The Lords help, it will happen. I am sure of it.
I am doing my laundry right now, which warms the house. WOO HOO. I was cold a bit ago. Don't laundry ever get done? I have been doing laundry since I was 7 yrs old and it seems to me that I should be done by now.
Hope you all have a great day. Enjoy life and remember to smile at a stranger today.

Prayers have been answered

I want to thank Our Military for their service to Our Country. I appreciate you protecting me and my children. It don't go unnoticed. THANK-YOU!!!!!

I just wanted to say prayers have been answered. Michael, a Soldier and a Cutie, Stacy's son is doing OK. He is home and a full recovery is expected. I seen him on webcam, he moves around ok considering the injuries he has. I wish I was closer to help. He is going to need lots of help for a bit, with two broken arms that's expected. His injuries could be worse, glad they are not.
I will say this part as a parent and someone who cares about Michael. The Good Lord works in mysterious ways, I am not sure but maybe this was his wake up call to Michael. Michael has delt with much more then a typical person about his age, that's including (but not the only thing) going to Iraq. He is a beautiful soul and I enjoy his humor. His actions as of late have been reckless, understandably. I pray he realizes this and is more careful in the future. I don't want him to go through this pain and trama again. He is to full of life to take 2-4 months out recuperating from an injury. Bless you Michael. I hope your feeling yourself sooner then expected.

TAKE CARE MICHAEL, my Cutie. I am just a keyboard away.

Trip and things~It is a long one.

I want to thank Our Military for their service to Our Country. I appreciate you protecting me and my children. It don't go unnoticed. THANK YOU!!!

Today has been a relaxing one so far. Being it is only 9am and I have been up for 3 hours now, I am blessed with quiet. Well besides the cats running and playing, they are noisy.
lil Dude is with his Dad this weekend. They are up at "Grandma's" due to it being her Birthday yesterday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SPARKY!!! I have been very busy lately. I went on a little trip with lil Dude and my Mom. Just a couple days. Little trip I mean over 800 miles in 4 days. We went to through Chicago, yuck. I have never been to Chicago and vow never to go back. It is dangerous to drive through. I was just on the highway and that scared me enough. It was raining and there was construction. The new lines they put down were the same color as the old lines. No difference when it was raining. So my Mom wasn't sure what lane was hers. We had to fallow people praying they were right. It was a mess. Thank the Good Lord we made it through just fine. Except for a few minor twitches, we're good. From Chicago we headed North. We went to a place called Kenosha, WI. That was a nice place. We stayed the night there. The Days Motel stunk, but the town was great. We toured Jelly Belly's there and lil Dude had a blast. He loved the train ride through the warehouse. They did an excellent job. The tour was free, but I spent $50.00 in the store. So did my Mom. So you know where they get their money from. I loved every minute of it too. I didn't know Jelly Belly's made 7-up jelly beans. They are good. They make taffy to (I didn't know that). I learned a lot. Would go again.
From there we headed north again. We went to Milwaukee. We then traveled west and visited Matt Kenseth's Fan Club Museum. That was nice. I like NASCAR as I am sure you know. lil Dude slept through it. I had to carry him all the way. He was heavy, he is 40lbs at 4 yrs old. Carry him for 1/2hr I bet you will feel it, it was worth it though. Mom took lots of pictures. Seen several shirts I liked. Didn't buy any as I am loyal to Jeff Gordon. Mom might have bought something, not to sure as I took lil Dude back to the truck. Whew he got heavy.
From there we went back to Milwaukee. We stopped for dinner, I would go to Milwaukee again. Nice area where we were. We then went north again. Up to Green Bay. We spent the night there in a little motel called Bay Motel. I recommend that highly. It was clean and nice. The people who ran it was great and very helpful. There is a restaurant connected to it. That was good food. If I get to go to back to Green Bay, I will go there again. It is on Military Road and 9th. When we woke in the morning we went to (let me check the web site I want to spell this correctly.) LAMBEAU FIELD. Wow I was impressed. We toured the field and I touched the grass. It was beautiful. The tour guides, Lee and Dave were awesome. Nice friendly and patiently answered the questions we all had. Green Bay is VERY PROUD of their Packers. With every right. I am now a Packers fan. I will still be a Lions fan, but Packers have impressed me. Not just the team but the history and the town as well. Green Bay is awesome. I recommend the tour and the Hall of Fame. It was fun for Mom, lil Dude and myself. My oldest son wants to go, now he is a Packers fan all the way. He loves Favre. He has, as far back as I remember, enjoyed the Packers. I picked him up a few things. A few for now and a few for Christmas.
From Green Bay we went to Escanaba, MI. Nice place, though we didn't see much. We stayed at the Days Inn there and appreciated this one. It was clean and the front desk people were great. My lil Dude was glad to be back in his home state by now. He was tired of being in the truck. We spent the night and headed on towards home. We went down Hwy 2, and it was beautiful. Lake Michigan and the colors BEAUTIFUL. I love this time of the year. I wish I had a cabin in the U.P. I would visit it as much as my job would allow it. We stopped at several road side shops as well as parks. lil Dude was very patient and couldn't wait to get home. We had the chance to see several ships in the water. The ships and the light houses were lil dudes favorite. He really liked talking about them. I knew we had to hit that dreaded bridge to get home. I have this thing about bridges. I don't like them at all. We hit a few here and there on the trip. Glad we hit the one in Green Bay at night. (whew) But this bridge was being worked on and the grades in the middle stink. I wanted so bad to get that part of my trip over. The Mackinac Bridge is not my friend. But I had a few hours to enjoy before that was an issue.
So we continued down Hwy 2 and looked and played. It was enjoyable and relaxing. We stopped and got a few Pasties (yummmmm) We got some frozen to bring home. They were good. We seen so many different colors it was relaxing. My lil Dude never napped but one day the whole time, even being on the road. Strange if you ask me but he is my son. We all to soon were at Mackinac Bridge. We stopped just before and went up on a roof of a local trinket shop. I can handle that, over looking the bridge and being up high. My Mom couldn't though. lil Dude looked through a "skeliscaope" and loved looking at the ships. We bought a few things and headed towards "The Bridge". I did ok, Mom payed the toll $2.50, and we headed across. We did good at first. I could do it. I didn't look at the ships as Mom and lil dude did. I looked straight. then I seen we had to go on the grates. gggrrrrr. Construction on bridges though needed SUCKS!! Mom it felt like slipped a few times, as did the car in front of us. I was glad it wasn't a windy day. Whew when we made it over I was so glad. We stopped and toured through the shops to get relaxed. Seen a few more ships, a few went under the bridge. lil Dude loved that. He was down right excited to watch them go under the bridge. As his Mom I enjoyed his enjoyment. We walked the water for a bit and headed home. We stopped in Grayling and Gaylord. Had dinner and made it home late that night. lil Dude was so happy to be home with his stuff. I was glad to be home as well. My oldest was glad to see us, and my middle child called to make sure we got home safe. My middle son had school yet he woke up to see if I was home, think he loves me....awwww
Well that was our trip. It was great and much needed. Lil Dude had went with his Dad to his Grandma's house last night, that entailed a 2 hour trip, poor lil guy.
I then had a date last night and that went OK. Not someone I can picture myself being around much. He was nice and all. I have known him for years. He had a crush on me since we met when I was 19. But I was married and he respected that. He and I met again after my divorce but again I had someone and he never pushed it. Though I knew he liked me. It was obvious. I met him again a few years later as I worked at the same place his brother did. I liked his brother, he was a family man and showed respect to his wife and children. I was still with the man I was with a few yrs earlier. Then I seen him a few times since then, but nothing ever happened. Then I met up with him yesterday, at a dollar store here in town. We went out last night and I was nuts thinging I could really enjoy. I guess he was so infatuated with me as a young adult that now he thinks we should fall right into a relationship. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. I am leary of him now. I don't think he would hurt me, but I do think he is a bit clingy. I don't need that. He said to me several times that he knew we would be together. That early on I made him cry by being with someone else. (YIKES) He said to me that he always wanted a chance with me and he wouldn't do anything to mess it up. Well I think he already did. I am not a clingy type person. He tried to kiss me and I told him no. I don't do that. It is to intimate for me. He said he understood, but had wanted to kiss me for years. He was a bit over bearing. I told him so too. Told him I didn't have the same type feelings for him as he did for me. That I never gave him and I a thought way back then cuse I was in relationships and I don't PLAY like that. He said he would call me today or tomorrow. Guess I will have to explain to him how uncomfortable he made me.
Well Later All I have wrote lots and my hands are tired. I need a shower and start my day. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
